On the agenda

  • Moose sirloin (am pondering marinade ideas)
  • Brussels sprouts (roasted with olive oil and coarse salt and shallot pepper)
  • Alice Medrich’s fallen chocolate souffle cake (rejiggering to be gluten-free, I’ll report back if it works)
  • A perfectly nice bottle of Merlot (Wine guy: “Well, this is my first time recommending a wine for moose….”)

I cannot make fun of Valentine’s Day when I enjoy fancy cooking as much as I do.
